The Speech, Language and Hearing Centre at Christopher Place is for babies and children under five who have hearing impairment, delay in speech, language and communication.

Over the past 11 years, we've earned an outstanding reputation for developing innovative therapy programmes that really make a difference to a child's life.

You'll find everyone at Christopher Place friendly and caring, with an effective service and a positive 'can do' approach. Our aim is to develop the whole child, so that your son or daughter can learn new skills and communicate with confidence.

Your child will receive a unique combination of nursery education and therapy, provided by a highly trained team of speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, specialist teachers and a chartered psychologist. A close partnership with the whole family is central to our approach, as we believe it's key to our success in building children's communication skills and their self esteem.

The only one of its kind in the UK, the Centre opened in 1995 and is a registered charity.
