Become a Friend of Christopher Place and Help Children Speak for Themselves
Every child should be able to speak for themselves.
By providing children with special needs, the skills needed to communicate with their parents, grandparents, teachers and friends, we are able to help them to overcome the difficulties they may face. Our experienced therapists and specialist nursery staff provide the very best in speech and language and occupational therapy so the children can make their voices heard.
Over 80% of children are able to go to a mainstream school with our help, this compares to around 20% from other special schools.
You can do it by becoming a Friend of Christopher Place for just £5 a month.
By doing this you could give Jack the chance to say "Hello" to his friends in the morning when he comes to Christopher Place. our therapists will work with him and his mum to make sure he has the best possible start in life and he stands a good chance of making lots of new friends when he's old enough to go to school.
Or by giving Sarah a chance to learn. She was a wriggler and couldn't sit still for any period of time. This was preventing her from attending school. But after an assessment and weekly sessions with us she can now sit and read a story with her dad. She is now looking forward to starting school soon. The cost of her care was covered by donations from generous people like you.
