Over one third of the children who attend Christopher Place are now supported by our Child Sponsorship Fund.
This fund was established when Christopher Place first opened its doors in September 1995. Its purpose is to offer funding to those children whose families are unable to meet the fees, so that appropriate therapy can begin as soon as possible.
Please fill in a pledge form if you would like to help sponsor a child's therapy, in full or in part. This is how your donation might be used:
| Speech and Language Therapy | Assessment and therapy for the child, support and guidance for parents.
including a home programme, in weekly one-hour sessions. 6 therapy sessions per child : £500 |
| Joint Speech and Language and Occupational Therapy | Sensory integration therapy, with the input of a speech and language
therapist. 6 joint therapy sessions per child : £750 |
| Implant Rehabilitation Programme | Provided in a gentle nursery setting, our "Learning to Listen" programme
has established an outstanding reputation for developing early attention
and listening skills for profoundly deaf children with recent Cochlear
Implants. "Learning to Listen" programme per child : £1,050 |
We particularly appreciate any donation to the Child Sponsorship Fund, as the more we can raise, the more sponsored places we are able to offer.
